At Lily Photography & Co, newborn sessions typically last 2 to 4 hours and are held in my cozy home studio in Downey, CA. Your baby's comfort is my top priority, so there's never any rush. We take plenty of breaks for feeding, cuddling, and capturing those precious poses without any added stress. My studio is designed with your convenience in mind, equipped with snacks, coffee, a comfy sofa for parents, a convenient changing table, and more! When should you book your newborn session?
Book before your newborn arrives. There's a lot on your plate when your baby arrives and it's easy to forget until it's too late.

It’s hard to predict pregnancy due dates, we don’t hard book anyone until you deliver. We will tentatively save a date range for you, and pick a finalized session time once you deliver.

When's the best time to book my newborn photography session?
It's ideal to book before your little one arrives. Your due date reserves your spot tenititvely. Once your baby is born, we'll schedule your session for when they're between 10 to 21 days old, capturing those precious early moments
How do I schedule my newborn session?
Simply fill out the inquiry form and I'll personally get back to you within 1-2 business days (usually within 24 hours). For pricing details, please refer to my investment guide. To secure your booking, a Sitting Fee and Session Agreement are required. Let's create some beautiful memories together!
What If My Baby Is Already Born?
Ideally, it is best to schedule your newborn photography session within the first 3 weeks of your baby's birth. During this time, I am able to get most of those curly and sweet poses.
Babies 3-8 weeks old are welcome, but please come with an understanding that I may only be able to get a few awake or wrapped images.
If you missed the window of opportunity, don't panic! I also do milestone sessions for babies 3 months and up. Better late than never!
What Should I Bring To My Newborn Session?
A receiving blanket, milk, and wipes. Everything we need for a successful session is at my studio. I provide all of the props such as wraps, bonnets/hats, props, accessories, etc. I also have a fully stocked diaper-changing station.
What should I wear?
During our one-on-one consultation, I'll guide you on selecting the perfect outfits to bring to your session. We'll work together to ensure you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera.
How many photos will I receive from my session?
During your Ordering Appointment, you'll have the opportunity to choose the number of images you'd like to purchase. My collections typically include options for 5, 15, 30 images, or more. You get to decide based on your preferences and needs.
What Products Can I Order?
I offer many different wall art options, albums and fine art prints to choose from. I have partnered with industry-leading labs to ensure that your products will be long-lasting and stand out in your home. For my full list of package options and pricing, please contact me.
